While this game is really janky, its cute aesthetic and unique gameplay save it from being completely terrible. The game is pretty easy if you abuse arrows and items, but it is really fun to weave your way through enemy movement patterns and backstab everyone without getting seen. Poorly implemented mechanics. Everything feels like it works the wrong way. You can't move into cover when an enemy's line of sight is moving away from it. The monsters don't move consistently, which feels annoying, and doesn't really add a legitimate sense of challenge. It just slows things down while you wait for a monster to stop looping and move just one tile over so you can actually move out of cover. This game...
For what it is, a rudimentary sneaky puzzlegame it is quite lovely and everything from the artwork to the levels invokes that lo-fi sneaky feeling. Dont expect to be blown away but as a slight filler-game for those time you cant bother kicking Thief or Dishonored into action it is quite enough to fill a small yet sneaky nische of my heart.
