I played this a loooong time ago. But The Path still resonates. It had such a unique atmosphere - creepy without being "horror," always keeping you on your toes. There aren't a lot of games I've come across like it since. I loved it, and I'm not even a horror fan, really.
I first played this game when it first came out, back when I was a teenager. It became one of those things that shaped my taste and even my worldview at the time. I guess, that explains everything that's wrong with me as a person now :D Loved it then, and love it even more after finishing it at 31. If you love strange, eerie art that provokes more questions than it answers, this game is for you.
