Value puts it in the top 1 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 78 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 94 percent. Among the games that feel like it, I wanna be the Creator ($5.99, scores 91) beats it on value, while it beats I Am Fish ($19.99, scores 28).
Steam's global achievement data puts about 14 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On an 8.4-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. 17 of the 684 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written December 2024 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 75 percent of the 475 reviews written there were positive, against 89 percent overall, and those are 14 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
Great game. Difficult game. Don't get mad. Just laugh at the funny voiceovers and enjoy your life.
This game got me thinking - I think we have enough entries in the Foddy-like genre to differentiate "Rage games" like Sisyphus from "Skill based precision platformers/Foddian" like Difficult Game About Climbing, Getting Over It, Baby Steps, Jump King, and now Get To Work. This game is excellent. It sits somewhere between CS Surf, Tribes, and Baby Steps, firmly in the "good rage games" bucket. Difficulty is main-line...
The most frustrating game ever (especially considering the DLC) but overall a great purchase. Very addicting and satisfying, and lots of my friends now play to compete with our best times. 10/10, very much recommend to try out.
