The value story
It has never been cheaper than $8.99. That was September 2026. 14 discounts in the 2 years on record. They run about 35 percent off, roughly 6 weeks apart. Today's $8.99 at 40 percent off matches the lowest price in the record.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 2 percent on value. It is pricier than 79 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 93 percent. Among the games closest to it, Blacksmith Master ($19.99, scores 55) and Flotsam ($24.99, scores 53) both come in lower.
10 of the 443 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written February 2025 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 68 percent of the 148 reviews written there were positive, against 89 percent overall, and those are 12 percent of everything written about it.

But even...
This is a well executed little game. I have only spent about 12 hours playing but it's such a relaxing, cozy game. It is not grand in scale, it is not sweeping in breadth. It is not innovative to the game world. It is simply a game about running a beer brewing monastery, and it accomplishes exactly what it set out to do. Making recipes is fun, the quests are challenging but not insane. New orders and challenges keep...
