Honestly? This game is awesome. The story is awesome and MOST of the cast was awesome (100% MY GOAT Halara) but beneath all the story cast and twists? The game struggles with inputs because the devs only ported the game instead of optimizing it for PC or even xbox controller. Pretty good detective game, if you liked games like danganronpa you'll definitely like this. My only two gripes is that sometimes the cases can be a little boring and also the fanservice kinda gets annoying(discussing who the murderer is while shinigami is spinning around in a swimsuit)
I've really loved some past Spike Chunsoft games, from Danganronpa to AI Somnium Files, so when I saw the obvious similarities in the product page I was excited to give Rain Code Plus a try. It pains me to say this, because I really like this studio, but this game just didn't do it for me. I generally don't like visual novels, but I do like mystery games.
