Next discount: likely between Oct 8 and Oct 21, at about $5.39 (40% off). Calls like this were right 78% of the time in a backtest over 70 weeks. Its own discounts have started about 70 days apart.

The Autumn Sale is on until Oct 8. It is at full price today. Valve's discount rules keep it out of the Autumn Sale: its US price went up on Sep 8, and no discount is allowed for 30 days after that. The next one it can join is the Winter Sale, Dec 17 to Jan 4.

Discounted in each of its last 4 seasonal sales on record.

The value story

The lowest price on record is $3.99, set in March 2025. It has been discounted 16 times in the 2 years tracked here, typically at 30 percent off, with about 6 weeks between sales. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 4 weeks ago.

Value puts it in the top 48 percent of the games it competes with. It is cheaper than 67 percent of its genre. The games it most resembles do better on the same math. Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel ($8.99, scores 57) and Glyphica: Typing Survival ($9.99, scores 69) both outscore it.

Of the 568 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 13 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written January 2025 to September 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 63 percent of the 179 reviews written there were positive, against 82 percent overall, and those are 12 percent of everything written about it.

HowLongToBeat players log 17.7 hours as a typical playtime, and completionists log 44, 2.5 times as much.

What players say

The graphics and optimization are good. But the game puts you on rails: there are very few different spells, and their modifications are extremely timid. You don't get the satisfaction of creativity, of making weird builds with absurd multipliers. Here, everything is bland and predictable: 10% here, 15% there... The upgrades you make have almost no impact. Another example of the lack of freedom: you can't choose to...

Gameplay is slow and boring, roguelike mechanics are shallow. Skill design is lacking, not much customization too. Structure building isnt bad idea, but implementation is poor. Most of structures lose viability pretty fast.

grindy, but satisfactory Survivor type. some of the enemy mobs can be annoying when they obscure suicide bombers running at you... gotta stay on your toes. the upgrades are meaningful, and function as listed. the structures that you can build have meaning, and add depth and survivability... the shop structure even grants you coins to necessary for permanent stat upgrades (skill tree outside of the map).
