What players say
I don't know what people are talking about with the game-breaking bug in chapter one. I got by perfectly fine multiple times to get 100% on both this and the standalone version. On the Daedalic website, they posted a save game to bypass the magnet bug, so if you get to it and it doesn't work, there is still a way to progress! Even The Complete Journey is already 12 years old and there will probably not be a patch...

A great series which was worth getting. (I'm still a bit sad i bought the full series a few days before seeing a 90% discount on every episode) However, the final ending was very disapointing, every episode was a build-up to rufus finally managing to reach his goal, but I think it's a nice conclusion and reminder that rufus understands that his fate is already sealed as Deponia cannot be escaped.
...Yeah, no, don't get The Complete Journey. If you play every game in one single go, I don't know how good your experience may be, but the Save System is GENUINELY BEYOND BROKEN. The Developer Commentary just stops working alltogether, some of the puzzles genuinely don't let you do them and then Skipping them does them WRONGLY SO YOU JUST GET SOFTLOCKED, some of the animations just stop working... For example, this...

Junk, junk and even more junk. Life on the trash-planet Deponia is anything but a walk in the park. No surprise that Rufus had enough of that and hatches one ludicrous plan after the other to escape this bleak place.
