The value story
It has never been cheaper than $7.09. That was October 2026. 10 discounts in the 2 years on record. They run about 25 percent off, roughly 13 weeks apart. Today's $7.09 at 29 percent off matches the lowest price in the record. $4.81 is what it would take to make this a BANGER, and nothing in its history goes that low.
Take the discount away and it is a 72. With it, 78.
Value puts it in the top 9 percent of the games it competes with. It is cheaper than 63 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 87 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Shadow Man Remastered ($19.99, scores 81) beats it on value, while it beats The Killing Antidote ($29.99, scores 53).
11 of the 505 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written October 2024 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 65 percent of the 325 reviews written there were positive, against 93 percent overall, and those are 12 percent of everything written about it.

What players say
The opening gave me the impression that it would be a wild ride, but I was kind of surprised at how sharply written this game is. By the end, I really cared about all the characters and their struggles.
It's really janky, and the melee sections are kinda torturous, but its got enough character that I ended up finishing in a sitting. Worth a look if you're down with this kind of indie title.
The best single player shooter in over a decade. A comical yet surprisingly well written story that reflects the creator's thoughts on issues that Japanese society faces today albeit with a fictionalized twist. It can be clunky, but it plays like a 2010 CoD campaign, with an added power fantasy that lets you do everything you wish you could do in those games. I highly recommend anyone interested in Japanese culture...
