What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work
- Steam lists in-app purchases but we have no detail on them. Small caution applied.

More about The Anomaly Project
This site sampled 396 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 9 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written August 2024 to August 2026. What players say
Fun game but barely any content, completed every level in coop within 3 hours. Has some replayability because you won't see every anomaly in your first run (unless you REALLY suck) but you'll see the same anomalies over and over if you run the same map 2-3 times. There's also nothing to unlock because all the bonus skins are hidden behind microtransactions. The only thing keeping this as a positive review is that...

Was funny listening to my husband scream when things popped out- would recommend
I really enjoyed this game! For an anomaly game, it is pretty standard. I wish the game was longer!! That's my biggest complaint lol
