What players say
No action. Just walking, reading, thinking, and a whole lot of atmosphere. I really loved the art. The game lets you know you are going to play a game who's narrator has a broken mind. Do you accept his thoughts, and is what he sees real or imagined as he leaves his hiding spot and surfaces to the world above, the old city. It's up to you how you interpret this game. I have been through it three times and still...

I don't know if I'm smart enough to enjoy this game. You just wander aimlessly listening to someone soliloquy about random stuff, read a few notes about random stuff, wander more, then the "level" ends. If you're lucky you found a hidden note that is like 60 pages long. I'm not asking for my money back because 1: I paid $6 for this, and 2: it's not "bad" per se, just not for me.

The Old City: Leviathan is an experiment in first person exploration that focuses entirely on story. All that exists is you and the world. Set in a decaying city from a civilization long past, The Old City: Leviathan puts the player in the shoes of a sewer dwelling isolationist.
