The value story
August 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $7.49. 10 discounts in the 2 years on record. They run about 35 percent off, roughly 6 weeks apart. Today's $7.49 at 50 percent off matches the lowest price in the record. $4.61 is what it would take to make this a BANGER, and nothing in its history goes that low.
At full price it scores 64. The current cut is what makes it a 76.
Value puts it in the top 2 percent of the games it competes with. It is pricier than 76 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 96 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Smushi Come Home ($7.99, scores 91) beats it on value, while it beats Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles ($24.99, scores 46).
5 of the 350 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2025 to September 2026.
It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating and runs 5 hours, about as long as a handheld game wants to be.

What players say
I'm only just scratching the surface of this game... only played for an hour... But the concept alone is perfect in for me as a Squirrel Enthusiast. I'm looking forward to exploring the world as a squirrel and seeing things from that perspective. Haven't really read any reviews for this but overall I think it's pretty good. I'll come back and edit my review later after I've played for longer
Fun, cute game to play with friends. Was a little short, but still worth the money. I'd buy the sequel
I loved this game! I enjoyed being a little critter trying to build nests and solve little puzzles. Super chill - only one sort of "threat" or "danger" is associated with one specific material but nothing which seemed too difficult. Music was great in each area. Sound bites were cute. The sticky climbing mechanic was impressive - very sticky and unless you intended to jump, it was very difficult to accidentally...
