The real horror is not the zombies. It's turning a corner, having the camera angle suddenly change, and realizing the zombie you were running away from is now directly in front of you. I loved the original Resident Evil. Warts and all. So I really enjoyed this remaster. If you enjoyed the original, then this game is for you. Yes it has janky controls. Yes it has cringe worthy dialogue. Yes it has a glut of 5 second load screens that consist of doors opening. Yes it has inventory managment up the wazoo. If you have been too spoiled by modern games that hand you everything, steer clear of this one...
