What players say
Personally I believe this is one of the best ww2 fighter games as it brings realism, crash physics and MODLED BULLET HOLES. Also unlike war thunder when you hit the ground it isn't a massive fireball (only sometimes) but the wings can tear off, the propeller's bend back and you can see the pilot slumped. Also all of this runs well on a low-end laptop which I'm happy for.

Is this game worth it. Long answer: 62 hours later i get my first air to air kill against a real player. The feeling was like no other, yes it may be a video game but for that moment I was in the plane, in control of this little piece of chaos called a P-51 mustang. IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad is the continuation of the legendary IL-2 Sturmovik series that has set the standard for PC combat flight games for more than ten years. This new entry into the series will offer virtual pilots an even more accurate simulation of the most famous air battles.
