On its surface, Hatoful Boyfriend looks like "the silly bird dating sim". However, as I played through the game and its routes, it became apparent to me that Hatoful Boyfriend is more than than its silly premise. Don't be fooled, this is a genuine Otome game that just happens to have datable birds. As you play through each route, you grow to care about these birds and their world. Some routes are silly while others...
i think everybirdie should play this game in its entirety at least once. literally changed my life
i've begun watching videos on raising, butchering, and cooking chukar partridges as something of an equivalent to an alcoholic drinking mouthwash to get their fix.
