The value story
The lowest price on record is $1.94, set in March 2026. Its cuts run 30 percent off as a rule. There have been 7 in the 2 years tracked, about 13 weeks apart.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 1 percent on value. It is cheaper than 83 percent of its genre, and the best reviewed. Among the games that feel like it, Cookie Clicker ($4.99, scores 98) beats it on value, while it beats (the) Gnorp Apologue ($6.99, scores 83).
$6.93 is where it would stop being a BANGER. It is priced at $2.99.
This site sampled 487 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 10 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written December 2024 to August 2026. 🕹️ Gameplay: ⭐⭐⭐ 📖 Story: ⭐ 🎨 Visuals: ⭐⭐⭐ 🎵 Music: ⭐⭐ 🔄 Replayability: ⭐ ❤️ Enjoyment: ⭐⭐⭐ Digseum is a simple little game that I found pretty enjoyable for a while. The gameplay is nothing particularly special, but I liked it enough to keep playing until I had seen everything the game had to offer. It's a basic gameplay loop, but it works well enough for a short experience. I can't remember there being any real...
10/10 Would Dig Again Came here to dig. Somehow ended up running a museum. • Dig stuff up. • Put stuff in museum. • People give money. • Use money to dig up more stuff. • Repeat until brain is happy. Honestly one of the most relaxing games I've played in a while. Getting 100% achievements was actually enjoyable instead of feeling like unpaid labor. No rage. No suffering. No 200-hour grind. Just digging, collecting...
I'm using a translator for this review, so please forgive any awkward phrasing! The pixel art was super cute, and it was the perfect game to play in my free time. Getting 100% achievements was easy, and the overall volume is light enough to fully complete in under 2 hours. There was a great variety of fields to play through, so it kept me entertained the whole time!
