The value story

It has never been cheaper than $5.99. That was June 2026. It has been discounted 10 times in the 2 years tracked here, typically at 30 percent off, with about 6 weeks between sales.

Against its own genre it lands in the top 1 percent on value. It is the best reviewed of its genre. The nearest things to it, Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut ($9.99, scores 61) and Darkwood ($19.99, scores 87), are both worse buys on this math.

The math says it holds its tier up to $20.13, and you are being asked for $9.99.

Steam's global achievement data puts about 8 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 14.1-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. 7 of the 532 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2025 to August 2026. That is fewer refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 3,162 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 2,587 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 87 percent of the 505 reviews written there were positive, against 98 percent overall, and those are 4 percent of everything written about it.

The main story runs 14.1 hours. Doing everything runs 52, 3.7 times as long.

What players say

Probably my favorite game of the entire year. The story, the level of layers to said story, the amount of endings, the amount of things you can do in this game, i cant believe it was only 10 bucks. Thank you Jerma for putting me onto this masterpiece. One of the best rpgs i've ever played. One of the best stories i got to experience.

This is probably the most fun I've ever had with an RPG Maker game, right alongside Fear & Hunger and Felvidek. Great replayability, good writing, distinct art style, and a soundtrack that's an absolute banger. And in its current state (2.3), it's PACKED with content too. An awesome take on Lovecraftian and body horror. Just go get it, smh!

Honestly, I'm hooked on this game. Just bought it and spent 14hrs playing it. I love how the choices you make in this game actually matters, and how you use your days affects on your event encounters. If you love Fear&Hunger, this brings back quite the nostalgic feeling. 10/10 Can't believe I'm just now seeing this game on steam.
