Learned of this game through Oneyplays and they got me to buy the game. Game is honestly way easier than they made it out to be but that sounds about right for how they play games haha. The platforming is satisfying, the new abilities are all game changers, the music is REALLY good, and the dialogue is very charming and well written, I liked watching Chris learn to believe in himself. Best platformer/metroidvania I've ever played. Better than Hollow Knight YEAH I SAID IT
My parasocial friend Chris O'Neill told me about this game, it makes me so happy I click my heels together while I spill birthday cake ice cream all over myself and squee in delight. Seriously though, this game is a well thought out and designed platformer with a lot of wacky power-ups and a LIGHT-hearted story. The only downside is it seems to be going by too fast as I'm just about 2 hours in and have half the map...
