It's 1955, and for unknown reasons, doppelgangers are more common than usual. Therefore, the Department of Doppelganger Detection (D.D.D.) has taken action. You are the doorman of an apartment complex, and you must decide whether to let in those who claim to be your neighbors.

The value story
March 2025 is where it bottomed out, at $1.79. It has gone on sale once in the 2 years tracked here, most recently in March 2025.
Value puts it in the top 2 percent of the games it competes with. It is cheaper than 83 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 94 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Grunn ($9.74, scores 86) beats it on value, while it beats Death and Taxes ($12.99, scores 73).
Steam's global achievement data puts 45 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. The median game this site can measure sits at 15. 52 of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2025 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 8 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 2,725 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 324 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 78 percent of the 1,415 reviews written there were positive, against 89 percent overall, and those are 32 percent of everything written about it.
Finishing takes 1.2 hours; clearing it takes 10, which is 8.6 times the campaign.

What players say
I liked the game. It's very fun. I liked the art and characters and I had a blast getting all of the achievements. Not much more to say 10/10.
Its a simple, but fun game. It's like the easier and more entertaining version of "Papers, Please". If you like spot the difference types of games, I would definitely recommend it!
The UI is very straightforward and it can be pretty simple if you played Papers Please in the past, it's repetitive but it's that type of game that you can play over and over for different outcomes like, different doppelgängers, different strategies with the clown game, as well as nightmare mode being a little challenging! I love this game!
