So I bought this game right when it came out and thought it was cool single game mode game with smooth, albeit simple controls with great music and cool style. Fun little game that I would recommend. Then I come back to it ten years later and all the sudden there's multiple game modes, several maps, and two little campaigns? Sweet
When the protagonist changes his name to Kung Fury after he inherits the power of Kung Fu and being really angry at bad guys... you get a pretty groovy beat em up.
This lost it's novelty to me at the end of the second stage where I had to look up what you're supposed to do to beat the boss. I got so frustrated with it I decided 'just tell me the damned answer' and looked it up on YouTube. Which is an utter failure of design that a boss's attacks are just so horribly telegraphed. There may be better designed bosses and enemies past stage 4 but I had gotten so frustrated by what...
