Though there are updated versions that improve upon the game with more characters, in no way should this be overlooked and not receive it's praises. Immediately the change from the series' usual pixelated sprites to cel shaded models is staggering but it looks FANTASTIC and is still used in games like Strive. I play this game on Steam Deck. It runs well at 60 FPS-flawless. Nothing to complain about; it's a great experience. However, there are several things you should be aware of before buying this game. Difference from Rev 2 : It's nearly the same. The main gameplay difference is balance, and there are more characters (17 vs. 25). Pretty fun 2d fighter. Just a shame that Baiken doesn't make an appearance until the next "installment". Character unlocks on the store are completely optional as they can be purchased in-game, but it'll take a long time because they aren't cheap, and the arcade modes / etc. only give you a couple thousand credits after game over. Awesome game regardless.
