What players say
This game is my childhood and the nostalgia I feel for it will never fade. Nowadays, it's a little clunky and dated but I'll still come back and do a full playthrough(it's much easier than I remember it being in my childhood!). I'd love a remaster or a just a modern retelling-some would argue you'd get that from AC Black Flag but it's just not the same-I just want the same feeling as in Sid Meier's pirates, I don't...

This game NEEDS a remake, way beyond its time. It is outdated now, but still some good fun, a remake of this game would absolutely feed families and be one of the few games I'd ever pre-order
In 7.7 hours ive, killed Governors, pirates, Colonels, ive gotten married to the daughter of a Dutch Governor, ive sank enough ships for it to be considered as a massacre and stolen about 7 ships, gotten in about 4 duals, got rejected because my dancing sucks sweaty turtle balls, rejected about 7 daughters of governors and replaced the my ship once
