What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work
About the game
Tinboy is a puzzle-platformer, with a massive difficulty level.
Minimum specs
Minimum on the Steam store: 123 MB of memory, 256 Mb. Runs on Windows, macOS, Linux.
The value story
88 discounts in the 11 years on record, a median of 75 percent off across all of them, roughly 5 weeks apart. Today's $1.99 at 60 percent off still sits 1321 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
It is pricier than 66 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 95 percent. On the same math One Gun Guy ($0.79, scores 23) and Deepest Sword (free, scores 70) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.

The rope in particular is quite odd to interact with. Shooting arrows in general, with a controller or keyboard/mouse, was super awkward and I never got used to it even after playing like 20 levels. My biggest issue is that the claim on the store...

Not much to expect. Levels feel similar and will bore you rather quickly. Game involve shooting some arrows which you can climb. Overall not the best in the genre.
Tinboy is a terrible Puzzle Platformer with very dodgy physics and controls. It's sad that some developers think they have created a "difficult" Puzzle game when in fact it's just a "ludicrous" product.
