Originally created by Seibu Kaihatsu, Raiden series comes back with a four-title compilation of these classic scrolling arcade shooter games we enjoyed being challenged with back in the days.

If you have a NVIDIA graphics card, you can go to your NVIDIA Control Panel to lock the game to 54 fps. The emulation problems of Raiden Legacy seem to be caused by running at 58 fps which causes stuttering and other annoyances. Also, turn off HD Music in the game's sound settings. It resets your settings every time you launch the game for whatever reason. Though this is a somewhat lazy port, the emulation problems...
With the new Raiden Fighters Remix collection out today for the Switch and PS4/5 and skipping the PC, presumably because this collection is still for sale, I decided to go back and have a deeper look into a collection I only played briefly years ago while I usually play these games on MAME.
