IMO, this is one of the most ovetlooked gems from the last decade. Most of Furi is extremely solid, though, for some players there are pacing issues. In between the bosses there are these minutes long introductions that some people find annoying. That is about the only negative aspect of this game. The 'game' side of Furi is in 100% a boss rush. If you don't like that niche genre or you're not willing to explore it...
Fast-paced and effective, Furi really excels when it comes to the quality of its boss fights. The bosses don't feel repetitive and each one stands out from the others. The difficulty, on the other hand, keeps ramping up. You'd better have your reflexes well sharpened, otherwise you're in for a rough time. To me, Furi is also a musical journey. Its soundtrack is heavily rooted in Synthwave, and features my favorite...
