The value story
May 2023 is where it bottomed out, at $7.99. 93 discounts in the 10 years on record. They run about 50 percent off, roughly 6 weeks apart.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 9 percent on value. It is pricier than 92 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 79 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Oxygen: First Breath (free, scores 71) beats it on value, while it beats The Last Haven ($19.99, scores 5).
Critics scored it 72. Players sit 9 points higher at 81 percent, which usually means a game that plays better than it reviews.
Of the 502 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, none come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 49 percent of the 165 reviews written there were positive, against 81 percent overall, and those are 8 percent of everything written about it.

Just felt like combat was kind of half assed. Tech tree is convoluted and doesn`t really make sense half of the time. Ai is dumb. While it is challenging, it isn`t fun to play. The only thing I enjoyed in this game was the base building, as well as the sounds/music.
