What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work
About the game
ORCS is an action/platformer 2D old school inspirated by classic like Castlevania and Ghosts 'n Goblins.
Minimum specs
Minimum on the Steam store: 2 GB of memory, 154 MB of storage. Windows only.
The value story
It has been discounted 86 times in the 10 years tracked here. The median cut across all of them is 72 percent, about 6 weeks apart. Today's $0.69 at 65 percent off still sits 86 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Value puts it in the top 7 percent of the games it competes with. It is cheaper than 83 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 83 percent. On the same math SANABI ($14.99, scores 84) and I wanna be the Creator ($5.99, scores 91) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.

What's fun about this game is figuring out the different ways to bypass the countless enemy types you come across. There are also several bosses and the game keeps introducing new elements as you progress. There are little details like a...
Despite featuring pixel graphics, ORCS manages to turn this visual style into a charming asset. The pixelated aesthetic adds a nostalgic charm to the game, evoking feelings of classic gaming. Furthermore, the simplicity of the graphics doesn't compromise the diversity and originality of the characters and environments, providing a unique and enjoyable visual experience for fans of this retro style.
