I sort of don't recommend it, but it's also sort of okay if you can get past the rough edges. Buy it super discounted. It's super clunky and janky. The movement is not fluid at all. Low FPS for no reason in random places. Yes it's annoying valve took everyone's unrated version away, but madmind did good by us and said FU to valve and made it a free unrated DLC for the regular version. We lost all our achievements...
I loved the idea of a hell based video game, love the idea of the gore and adult themes. Ideologically, it would have been a fantastic game. However, the delivery was terrible. Choppy graphics, clunky gameplay, poorly designed characters. The hype drew me in, the game itself, lost me quickly.

Agony is a first-person, survival horror set in hell. You will begin your journey as a tormented soul within the depths of hell without any memories about your past. The special ability to control people on your path, and possess demons, gives you the measures to survive.
