With 3,800+ hours under my belt, I can confidently say Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War is the absolute pinnacle of 4X strategy in the grimdark universe! True to Warhammer lore, there is zero diplomacy here-just pure, unadulterated warfare. Proxy Studios and Slitherine have crafted a phenomenal experience. The base game and its excellent DLCs let you command iconic factions like the Space Marines, Astra...
Fun game, but the balance is terrible. A lot of necessary units are locked behind DLC. If the DLC was just faction packs I'd be totally fine with it.
