The value story
Across all 107 discounts in the 10 years tracked, the median cut is 80 percent, about 5 weeks apart. Today's $1.24 at 75 percent off still sits 153 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 2 percent on value. It is better reviewed than 92 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, Broforce ($14.99, scores 93) beats it on value, while it beats Distant Space 2 ($0.49, scores 59).

It's a no for me. The game is fun, don't get me wrong and the music is fun too. Problem is, it feels like someone with the humor of a 12 year old made all of the dialogue and achievements. Pick-a.ss-0 as a pun for picasso? Maybe i would have laughed at that in grade school. In addition, the hitboxes for some bosses like the monastery level are terrible. You can be a good inch from the lightning strikes and they...
2 more reviews, 1 not recommended
A poorly made slapped-together piece of trash, entertainment for about 30 minutes... With decent pixel art but absolutely awful, miserable gameplay (in arcade game, Carl!), a couple dozen clunky game design choices, bugs, and even the possibility of getting soft-locked during playthrough (IN ARCADE GAME, CARL!). Didn't even bother reading the story - just a stream of dull nonsense trying to pass itself off as humor...
Death's Hangover is a good little Breakout game with a few ideas that make the familiar ball and paddle routine feel more involved. It is not mind blowing, and it does not need to be. If you like Arkanoid and want something casual to dip into, this is an easy recommendation from me. I've been playing it in short daily sessions, usually around ten to twenty minutes, while working toward the achievements. That rhythm...
