The value story
June 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $0.99. Its cuts run 60 percent off as a rule. There have been 85 in the 10 years tracked, about 6 weeks apart. Today it is at full price, and its last discount ended about 6 weeks ago.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 19 percent on value. It is pricier than 67 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 68 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Gato Roboto ($7.99, scores 82) beats it on value, while it beats Castle In The Darkness ($9.99, scores 43).
Critics scored it 71. Players sit 9 points higher at 80 percent, which usually means a game that plays better than it reviews.
Steam's global achievement data puts about 17 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 7.2-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. Of the 401 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 3 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written April 2020 to August 2026.
Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified, and at 7.2 hours it is short enough to finish on one.

I honestly felt like I must've been missing some power-up for the first hour I played it. Upon getting the...

You only get spells that give you more movement options, there are no "upgrades" to give you double jumps ect. But the puzzles were elementary, combat was simple and easy, instant death spikes were the only real threat the whole game, only few bosses here and there. It's basically a nice introductory game to platforming...
