What players say
A pretty good roguelite that despite the weapon crafting plays a lot like a boomer shooter. Gameplay is frantic and fun however becomes a bit repetitive with a limited number of enemies and weapons resulting in encounters feeling rather tired by the end of the run time, as well as dropped resources despawning far too quickly for how franticly you're meant to run around arenas working against the fun gameplay. It's like Quake 2 with bots but with way more gun combinations, attachments and XP grinding to max out your starting perks. Particulary enjoyed the AOE BFG and Rail Shotgun variants. Ton of fun solo and co-op. There is a campaign and story/characters are quite funny.
The maps are a little small and it starts repeating really early. Still fun with friends

About the game
MOTHERGUNSHIP is a bullet-hell FPS where you craft your own guns, fight gigantic bosses, and defeat a robotic alien armada that conquered Earth. Face off against overwhelming odds in brutal, non-stop combats where thinking on your feet is the only way to survive.
