What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work
About the game
Discover the secrets of the witches and demons in this dark fantasy romance game, featuring a female protagonist whose personality is completely up to the player thanks to extensive dialog choices.
Minimum specs
Minimum on the Steam store: 2 GB of memory, 901 MB of storage. Runs on Windows, macOS, Linux.
The value story
93 discounts in the 10 years on record, a median of 65 percent off across all of them, roughly 5 weeks apart. Today's $5.99 at 70 percent off still sits 201 percent above the floor, so a deeper cut exists in its history.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 2 percent on value. It is pricier than 89 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 93 percent. It outscores the games it most resembles, including Life is Strange: True Colors ($17.99, scores 66) and Life is Strange: Double Exposure ($19.99, scores 20).

What players say
Remember playing this game 6 years ago and it was pretty solid novel with quite alright visuals. I replayed it today once more with "Good" alignment to get Alternate Universe achievement. Story is quite extensive as even when I was skipping as much dialogue as I could, today's run took me 3,5 hours.

Possibly the best visual novel I've ever played. The story gets you hooked. There are so many plot twists and a lot of moral ambiguity. That said, it might be too much for some people because its a very dark game and has a lot of triggering, disturbing things that happen.
Bad game design for a mostly linear romance VN. Game essentially forces you to replay last chapter of the game, if you made "wrong" choices earlier in the chapter. Coupled with janky game engine and non existence of proper walktroughs, it makes finishing a simple VN a chore. Thumb down.
