What players say
The crude stickmen art style really fits the light hearted nature of this game, and even with that aspect, the soundtrack is amazing and I can tell whoever the composer is put all the power in their heart and soul for each song in it. Gameplay is overall great and I can't really think of even a minor issue with West of Loathing. Can't wait to purchase Shadows over Loathing at some point.
i've been meaning to play this game for the longesttt time and OH BOY, i'm so glad i finally did. i absolutely loved it. the writing is hilarious, worldbuilding is so engaging, and there are SO many things to discover in the kingdom of loathing. I genuinely laughed my ass off while playing. like, actual audible laughter. highly, highly recommend. go play it!!!
I bought this game after I watched Markiplier play it. I have beaten this game a few times, and it was quite enjoyable.
