to play an hour of this just to have a random event roll a certain Game Over, utterly pointless waste of time

This game is putrid. Great concept, horribly implemented. Program throws different "crises" at you and it seems to be totally random and without regard to your preparedness. For instance, I leave port with 86 days worth of water. 3 days in I get a decision card stating I'm running out of water...? Some of these random events are totally unrelated to what's going on on the ship. Just random tragedies which you CANNOT...
Finally beat the game and I gotta say it's great. Nice tense combat and strategy paired with a brilliant sound track.
