The value story
The lowest price on record is $6.24, set in October 2022. Its cuts run 70 percent off as a rule. There have been 90 in the 9 years tracked, about 5 weeks apart.
On value it sits in the top 29 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 83 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, Propagation VR (free, scores 84) beats it on value, while it beats Dead Effect 2 ($11.99, scores 40).
Steam's global achievement data puts about 11 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On an 11.6-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. 8 of the 324 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 9 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 1,071 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 106 have a larger share. The typical game sits near 5 in 1,000, so the score docks it. Inside the two-hour refund window, 55 percent of the 417 reviews written there were positive, against 81 percent overall, and those are 36 percent of everything written about it.
The main story runs 11.6 hours. Doing everything runs 58, 5.0 times as long.

What players say
Dude, I don't know how this game isn't more popular. Super fun gameplay, tons of guns to find and upgrade, and overall just a lot of content, not to mention it's all multiplayer capable. The graphics are a bit dated and the gunplay is a little basic, but by no means do those take away from the overall experience much. I frequently find myself going back to this game and having a blast, even in 2026.
It's just old good DE2 but in VR, really fun after all these years for me to replay it again. Of course the port has some issues, i have gotten a few bugs that forced me to restart mission/map because either i killed boss too quickly in DLC mission or sometimes in biohazard mode last zombie clips in wall and you are unable to kill it. Perfomance also is not really good considering its 2017 game. 5090 reaches close...
this game is pure, STUPID slaughtering fun. its like a B movie, or action scenes from bollywood. its ridiculous. its amazing. on sale this is a must play with your friends in co-op.
