tutorial is jack, i can say it certainly is Stonwall jackson, but jack****. the tutorial is so bugged to the point you can't play. even if you go through the hell of reading what is essentially a book on the controls etc and then restart and fast forward it still glitches on you. looks like a fun game but to learn the game via tutorial is so infuriating that i might as well spend another day with my narc ex wife...
This game has to have the most frustrating, least intuitive UI ever. Clicking "Start Campaign" starts nothing, clicking "Start Tutorial" starts nothing. Anything that may have a chance in pointing you in right direction does nothing. I have 2.1 hours invested in this game according to Steam and I can honestly say I've never gotten past what may be the start screen.
I had this game on my wishlist for years. I never got it because it just looked to complicated and I'm a hoi4 player. Well i finally got it and wish I had got it sooner. If hoi4 and total war had a baby that loved the civil war and was smarter that's what this game is. A grand strategy is a grand strategy where this games shines is the whiskey and lemon DLC. You can make your own character that only has command over...
