Against its own genre it lands in the top 36 percent on value. It is better reviewed than 68 percent of its genre. Among the games that feel like it, Anger Foot ($19.99, scores 61) beats it on value, while it beats Pavlov ($24.99, scores 47).
Steam's global achievement data puts 25 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. The median game this site can measure sits at 15. Of the 316 Steam-purchase reviews this site sampled, 7 come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written April 2020 to August 2026. That is more refunded reviewers than 7 in 10 paid games this site has sampled to the same depth, and among the 1,071 games in its genre sampled this deeply, 270 have a larger share. Inside the two-hour refund window, 79 percent of the 749 reviews written there were positive, against 86 percent overall, and those are 53 percent of everything written about it.

Otherwise, this was a fun experience with lightning fast action gameplay. It has the same wonderful graphical style as Sludge Life.
High Hell is a fast-paced level-based FPS speedrunning game where you play as a woman trying to bring down an evil tyrant by sabotaging his business ventures in the upper roofs and penthouses of the game's urban hell. The game is cartoony if not basic looking but the makeup of the levels and visual signaling is well done. The soundtrack is very intense, industrial, aggressive electronica that pumps up the action...
