Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is the game that proved Hitman could work. We get to see some proper stealth mechanics and freedom-of-approach across the campaign. The game is quite dated, and I would not recommend it unless you consider yourself a serious Hitman fan or otherwise want to explore all of the games in the series. Well, it works for the most part. Stark improvement over previous game, but still has clunky controls, minimalistic levels and drawn out sequences not accounting for repeat mission walkthroughs (I don't need extra tutorials every time I start up new game to test something).
