Admittedly, I started this game with low expectations and thought it would be an Earthbound/Undertale ripoff. But it's not. One of the better RPGs I've played in recent years. Highly underrated! I love games that mix the light and dark, the contrast brings out its themes more than just a straight horror game. I played on easy mode to minimize grinding, though even then later fights required it. Music was great too,, there are several standout tracks, but it all fit together well.
JatPM has been an insightful, interesting and expansive story with a lot of elements that rivals a lot of games out there (At least with my experience, which might be little). The lore, secrets and challenges you face can be both innocuous and impactful when you realise just how much it will challenge your decisions. And trust me, this game will genuinely knock you off your feet when you realise just how suspenseful...
