I first played this game 6 years ago when it was free on epic games store. It was a nice little treat of a game then, and I'm enjoying it even more now, playing on my steamdeck. It reminds me a lot of that old downhill skiing game that came with like... windows 95? If you are on the fence about this game based on the reviews that mention difficult camera angles: those guys are big babies and you should get this...
I play this game almost daily for at least one run. Does that mean I'm actually good at it, hell no, but it's still a lot of fun every time.
I may continue to play it as this could have been SO GOOD but that camera angle ruins it. This gets worse the further you progress into the game as the courses become more difficult. Can't always glean the shape of 3D objects with a single viewpoint. When cycling towards the player, out of the screen, (as it were) aspect and angle of the course are impossible to know. More games need mods. This one specifically...
