I love Rusty Lake and have thoroughly enjoyed pretty much everything they've made, but Paradise was a real slog to finish. It feels unnecessarily tedious compared to the other games in the series. The puzzles are often either repetitive click-fests or frustratingly unintuitive, and navigating around the island is slow enough to become a chore rather than part of the experience. There's still plenty of that classic...
Starts strong but goes on significantly too long for a surreal experience like this -- probably 4 hours, 6 casual ones -- and when then the game has already outstayed its welcome it in chapter 9 of 10 has you sit through some maddeningly obtuse astrology puzzles that made at least me seriously consider quitting then and there. Bit of a shame. While I quite liked Samsara Room this one will have me for now hit pause...
