The value story
It has never been cheaper than $6.24. That was March 2026. Its cuts run 60 percent off as a rule. There have been 52 in the 5 years tracked, about 5 weeks apart.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 17 percent on value. It is pricier than 93 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 88 percent. On the same math Paradise Killer ($19.99, scores 72) and Dreamfall Chapters ($24.99, scores 62) are the better buys, and they are the games it most resembles.
The press gave it 76; the people who bought it give it 86 percent. A 10-point gap in the buyer's favour.
Players rate it 86 percent positive over its lifetime, but the last 30 days run 73 percent. Something recent has soured the room. 19 of the 800 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written January 2022 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 53 percent of the 466 reviews written there were positive, against 86 percent overall, and those are 9 percent of everything written about it.
Finishing takes 7.5 hours; clearing it takes 21, which is 2.8 times the campaign.
It carries Valve's Deck Verified rating and runs 7.5 hours, about as long as a handheld game wants to be.

What players say
Such a unique and interesting game. If you are looking for a relaxing, adventurous game where there are no stated goals or quests, you just find them as you explore this will be a great 10-20 hours of gaiming. Outside of the intro quests to teach the basics, you can play this game in any order you like as you freely discover the world. You can even discover and complete quests accidentally and it does not change...
Genuinely I had a great time with this game! If you're looking for a peaceful game with lots of exploration and a beautiful world, this absolutely delivers. There's no combat, but I found no shortage of things to do and had a lot of fun. The core gameplay is definitely exploration, but there are also quests to complete for various NPCs, and some environmental puzzles/platforming. I found the story really compelling...
Absolutely beautiful and relaxing game. A cozy roadtrip with wonderful sights. And exploration is worth it to find out about the backstory of this civilization.
