The value story
March 2020 is where it bottomed out, at $7.99. 42 discounts in the 9 years on record. They run about 38 percent off, roughly 9 weeks apart.
Against its own genre it lands in the top 3 percent on value. It is pricier than 84 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 96 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Wingspan ($7.99, scores 93) beats it on value, while it beats Twilight Struggle ($9.99, scores 49).
1 of the 436 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here comes from a buyer who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 67 percent of the 111 reviews written there were positive, against 91 percent overall, and those are 5 percent of everything written about it.
