The value story
August 2026 is where it bottomed out, at $3.19. It has been discounted 55 times in the 6 years tracked here, typically at 60 percent off, with about 5 weeks between sales.
On value it sits in the top 17 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 89 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 75 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Mr. Prepper: Prologue (free, scores 61) beats it on value, while it beats Force of Nature ($7.99, scores 44).
Steam's global achievement data puts about 8 percent of players at this game's ending achievement. On a 13.9-hour game, the hours short of it still count in its price per hour. This site sampled 800 of its Steam-purchase reviews; 11 were written by buyers who refunded it, sampled from reviews written September 2021 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 48 percent of the 510 reviews written there were positive, against 80 percent overall, and those are 11 percent of everything written about it.
The main story runs 13.9 hours. Doing everything runs 46, 3.3 times as long.
The drop-off
96% start to 8% finishSteam counts fewer than one in ten of its players at the ending achievement. On a 13.9-hour game, that's a lot you pay for and may never use. Steam global achievements

What players say
Linear game. A lot of grinding. Little to no replayability. And of course bugs. Right at the end of the game I get to the fort and it says leave all my stuff in the box. My inventory is empty, even stuff equipped is empty. Keep clicking on the computer with the same answer. Can't enter the fort. So I'm definitely not recommending a game I cannot even complete.
Game is a buggy mess. Save files randomly nuke themselves, inventory will edit itself across other saves so you can't roll back, random world tasks will occasionally undo themselves. Not worth the effort tbh. Devs have most likely checked out anyway.
Wasn't worth the $4 USD I paid for it. Game breaking/game ending bugs still present 4 years later. Discussion forums filled with other examples. Glorified Tablet game
