I really wanted to like this game and there were a lot of things that made me think I would - but the sidekick character was absolutely intolerable to me. Just game-ruiningly irritating. I don't think it would have bugged me if I could have selected a different language for the audio (which is not to say it's the voice actor's fault; I'm sure they were following the directions they were given) as the voice acting...
Despite a fairly strong first impression, the game ultimately fails to deliver on its promise. The writing is awkward, the voice acting feels off, exposition is handled without much finesse, and the plot has more holes than an old Norwegian country road. I enjoy a good walking simulator, but this isn't it. The music is pretty decent, though, and the visual presentation can be quite striking at times, even if the...
I wouldn't NOT recommend this game. It was by no means bad. Just honestly a bit lack luster in my opinion. If you are wanting a super short, atmospheric, and semi-interesting story based game, then absolutely give it a shot. I would never pay full price for this however, as it really only took me 4 hours to complete if that
