The value story
It has never been cheaper than $0.55. That was December 2024. 13 discounts in the 3 years on record. They run about 70 percent off, roughly 12 weeks apart.
Value puts it in the top 1 percent of the games it competes with. It is cheaper than 69 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 99 percent. It outscores the games it most resembles, including Zup! 2 ($1.99, scores 90) and Zup! 5 ($1.99, scores 85).
On this data it would still be a BANGER at $3.66. It costs $1.99.
1 of the 449 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here comes from a buyer who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to August 2026. What players say
Still Simple, With a Small Extra Twist Zup! 8 keeps the same minimalist formula I've come to expect from the series, but this time the addition of moving platforms gives some of the puzzles a slightly different feel. Nothing that changes the experience dramatically, but it's a nice little touch that keeps things from feeling completely identical to the previous entries. I completed it 100% in 69 minutes, and once...
Differently than earlier games, platform moving mechanics added to this game. Very well done! However, my favorite will always be the portals <3
