The value story

It has never been cheaper than $5.97. That was December 2024. Its cuts run 70 percent off as a rule. There have been 87 in the 8 years tracked, about 5 weeks apart.

It is pricier than 96 percent of its genre, and less well reviewed than 62 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Void War ($14.99, scores 80) beats it on value, while it beats Out There: Ω Edition ($14.99, scores 42).

None of the 448 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written March 2020 to July 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 48 percent of the 127 reviews written there were positive, against 77 percent overall, and those are 10 percent of everything written about it.

What players say

I keep wanting to like this game. I keep installing it hoping this time I'll enjoy it. It's just not fun to play. The concept is great, but the UI and UX are so tragically bad that it leeches all of the fun out of it. And now the devs seem to have gone AWOL despite a message saying they were going to stay around and work on it.

seems like fun but enemies boarding your ship is an automatically game over. doesnt seem like it will be fixed soon

The game is incredibly micro heavy to play. Point defense attacks on a first-come-first-serve system, so you need to pause every second and reprioritize targets on incoming projectiles. You want to switch between load outs before combat so your shields are fully charged. You need to scan every enemy ship for weapons which can destroy your modules so you can focus them. After crewmates die you have to juggle your...
