What drives the score
How to read this
Grades run S to D, read from the buyer's side. ▲ marks a lift, ▼ a drag or a dock, ? an input we do not have, • a fact this genre's score does not use. How the grades work
- Steam lists in-app purchases but we have no detail on them. Small caution applied.
The value story
It has never been cheaper than $1.24. That was August 2023. Its cuts run 60 percent off as a rule. There have been 83 in the 8 years tracked, about 5 weeks apart.
On value it sits in the top 16 percent of its genre. It is pricier than 78 percent of its genre, and better reviewed than 84 percent. Among the games that feel like it, Carcassonne - Tiles & Tactics ($2.99, scores 61) beats it on value, while it beats THE GAME OF LIFE ($6.49, scores 28).
6 of the 436 Steam-purchase reviews sampled here come from buyers who refunded the game, sampled from reviews written June 2020 to August 2026. Inside the two-hour refund window, 69 percent of the 229 reviews written there were positive, against 82 percent overall, and those are 28 percent of everything written about it.
Finishing takes 5 hours; clearing it takes 19, which is 3.9 times the campaign.

What players say
yooo so like sometimes the ultimates are a bit overpowered and i lose but thug it out i guess type shift
It is Battleship. I really don't have more to say about the gameplay. It has a new mode, Commander mode, where you play with a character who has unique traits. The issue is, the Commander mode is limited to three characters, the rest are locked behind a paywall. It sort of feels like that part is just a demo for a DLC as a result.
