This is a city builder similar to City Skylines, only much, much more difficult. Steep learning curve. I've put in hundreds of hours in City Skylines. This game chewed me up and spit me out within the first 5 hrs. of playing. The game does have, "Creative Mode." In Creative Mode, you need not to worry about going bankrupt. You still play by a few rules, but there is no stress of your world imploding.

Fun during the early game, then gradually more tedious as you gain more territories and discover new worlds. You are constantly bombarded with calls to action like, "Ship under attack", "Fire", "Trade Route has a major problem" and many more. Then there are the quests, not only from competitors but from your own citizenry, and managing the impact of a disrupted supply line on various islands. You have to micromanage...
