Got the true ending... very confused. But outside of the confusing ending, I got a lot out of this game, love rogue likes and this was a challenging game for sure. The replay value of this game is immense, but each playthrough will cost you around 1-3 hours. 3 hour playthroughs more at first, then once you get the hang of things it becomes easier, but the more challenging the longer it takes to get out of the "rut"...
This is a very meaningful game with a message it executes well. The bugs artfully sprinkled throughout, such as run-ruining instances where no matter what you do you get locked out of residency, for example, are a subtle nod to the fact that as a homeless person, you can do everything right and still get screwed over. But seriously it's a great game that is also fun but the bugs WILL inevitably piss you right off...
just unlocked the true ending but have yet to unlock all items and stuff. at first i thought that change: a homeless experience looked kind of bad? but the cute dog on the picture caught my eye. so i bought and played it and was hooked within 1 hour. i love the system with the perks, maladies etc, i love the realism, the park/shelter/nighttime events, the accurate representations of how people interact with the...
